The Dances of Universal Peace are simple, meditative and uplifting group dances. They are inspired by and honor the many wisdom traditions of the world. The dances are a form of body prayer that uses sacred phrases, simple movements, mantras and music to inspire and awaken participants, and to ultimately develop the peace that surpasses understanding.
Some of the traditions honored by these joyous and heartfelt dances are Buddhist, Celtic, Christian, Goddess, Hindu, Islamic, Jewish, Native American, Sufi, Universalist, and Zoroastrian.
No musical or dance experience of any kind is required and everyone is welcome to join in.
We usually meet on the 2nd Saturday of every month. See box on the left for upcoming dates.
